
Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980 [1in the United States, is an American actress. She began her acting career at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. At the time she performed in stage productions. The comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out in the following year. She then appeared in the action thriller film Spartan (2004) and was awarded applause for her performance on the drama TV film Gracie's Choice (2004).Her first major role was the title role in the teen noir drama TV series Veronica Mars (2004-2007), receiving critical acclaim and the Saturn Award for Best Actress in Television for her performance. In the 2014 film the series, she reprised her part as the title character in the reboot of the series in 2019, she reprised her role. Bell starred from 2007 to 2008 as Elle Bishop in Heroes, an action-packed superhero series. She voiced the titular narrator in the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl, reprising the role in the sequel in 2021. Bell was also the Showtime comedy House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. She starred as Eleanor Shellstrop in the NBC comedy series The Good Place. This role earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the streaming show The Woman in the Home The Girl in the Window Across the Street Girl in the Window.
