Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who began her career with innovative raps which addressed sexuality and racial identities with an edgy, comical perspective. Then she branched out to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first music experience. She was a trumpet player. Additionally, she was given the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. In college, she studied journalism and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. When she graduated, she started to pursue music as her main focus. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet and was later released on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. Some other hits that went viral included Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. The final track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, released in the year 2015. Her resume contained both an musicians and an author. Now she was looking to further her career in acting. Apart from the early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored a number of notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP In Fina We Trust.
