Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson; born March 27 1970, height 5'9 is a American actor who is famous for her role as the character Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's show Lost as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans on V. She has starred such films as The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. The Escape Clause as well as Gia. Mitchell stars in Eric Kripke television series Revolution which is broadcast on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both lawyers from Dallas. Washington High School located in Dallas, Texas. It is a public Magnet school. She is the oldest sister of Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell and Kristina H. Kristie Mitchell. Mitchell was a student at the British American Drama Academy and was a graduate of Stephens College, graduating in 1991. Mitchell has worked in Dallas Theater Center six years. Her most prominent role is currently playing the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime show Criminal Minds. In June 2010 it was revealed that her Criminal Minds role would be cut in half for the sixth season. Brewster's role left Criminal Minds in March 2011, but she could come back in the future.
